How did the mail truck catch fire?

A U.S. Postal mail truck believed to be carrying absentee ballots in Georgia was completely destroyed after it caught fire on Monday.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office shared images on Facebook of a Jeep engulfed in flames in a rural area near the Pretoria/Tarva Road, approximately ten miles southwest of Albany. In the Facebook post, they stated ” A vehicle fire in the 1000 block of Pretoria/Tarva Rd. claimed the jeep and a lot of U.S. Mail. The mail delivery driver was unharmed. The Newton Post Office has a list of packages and mail on this particular route if you are expecting a delivery.”

The sheriff’s office said the driver of the van was not injured, but the car is a total loss along with all the mail in it. Below are some images of the Mail Truck on fire.
