Shocking Kanye West Is No Longer A Billionaire

According to Forbes, rapper Ye’ (Kanye west real name ) parting ways with his corporate partners cost him his billionaire status.

In the past few weeks, Ye has cut ties with luxury fashion house Balenciaga, Gap, and most recently Adidas over his anti-Semitic comments and wearing a shirt with a slogan associated with the Ku Klux Klan.

In a media report, Adidas stated ” Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.

After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Kanye West immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products, and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. adidas will stop the Adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.

On Tuesday, Forbes, one of the world’s leading financial elite trackers of wealth, said it had dropped Kanye west from its list of billionaires. The Adidas deal is estimated to have accounted for €1.53 billion of his net worth, but Forbes now puts it at just €408.81 million.

Forbes said the remaining €408.81m of his net worth comes from real estate, cash, his music catalog, and a 5% stake in Kanye west wife Kim Kardashian’s (Ex wife ) shapewear firm Skims.

It’s likely, of course, that Kanye west still considers himself a billionaire, given that he’s complained for years that Forbes underestimated his net worth. Forbes reported that in 2020 – when it first listed him as a billionaire – he wrote to SMS magazine: “It’s not a billion. It’s 3.37 billion euros because no one at Forbes can count. For this year’s awards, Ye sent documents to Forbes claiming his partnership with Adidas alone was worth 4.39 billion euros, and elsewhere he claimed his net worth was about 7.15 billion euros.
